The results of observations of altitude and temporal variations
in the hydrogen ions fraction for four seasons during the maximum of 23rd solar activity cycle using the Kharkiv incoherent scatter radar are presented. The observed variations are compared with the results obtained for minimum of solar activity and with the IRI-2012 data model.
