Resonance Properties of Axially Symmetrical Microwave Resonators with Conical Elements

Abstract

Characteristic of cylindrical and biconical resonator parameter tuning by longitudinal mechanical shifting of axial rod with conical profile is investigated. The connection between the angle value of a conical part of the axial rod and the parameters of the resonators investigated is studied. Minimal influence of longitudinal mechanical shifting of the axial rod with a conical profile on the structure of resonator electrical fields is shown. The calculations are experimentally verified. The experiments have shown good agreement of the results.
