Some Problems of the Phased Array Theory Relevant in Radio Astronomy
Abstract
Some theoretic problems in developing multi-element antennas for radio telescopes is discussed. Their solving is required in choosing the configuration of element disposition which provide high resolution and resolution-consistent sensitivity with the least antenna elements, also while calculating radio telescope parameters with an accuracy desired to determine the coordinates and strengths of the investigated space sources.
