Approximate Solutions of the Dispersive Equation for a Circular Waveguide with Impedance Boundaries

Abstract


The approximate solutions of the dispersive equation for the eigenmodes of a regular transmission line with impedance boundaries at the high- and low-frequency approaches are given. Expressions for the cutoff frequencies of the asymmetrical hybrid waves are obtained. Dispersive characteristics of the two-layer dielectric waveguides in a circular metal shield are analized.
