MIMICRY OF OBJECTS WITH TRANSFORMATION OPTICS APPROACH
Abstract
The possibility is shown to creation of anisotropic dielectric cloaks
which provide the bodies they cover with a mimicry imitating the
body of some other form which can be thus observed by the
outside observer. The technique of designing mimicry cloaks with
the use of transformation optics approach is presented. It is shown
that the material parameters in such a mimicry cloak are of a
nonsingular character. Numerical modelling of mimicry cloaks
is carried out, and their work efficiency estimated.
