ALGORITHMS OF POLARIZATION PARAMETERS DETERMINATION OF PULSAR RADIO EMISSION
Abstract
Optimal algorithms for determination of polarization parameters of pulsars elliptically polarized radio emission are considered. These algorithms correspond to a particular type of the recorder that can be used at the receiving point. These recorders can include the Wave Form Receiver, the correlation receiver or the parallel spectrum analyzer. It is also shown that all the polarization parameters of pulsed radiation in the source reference frame can be restored with high reliability for linearly polarized radio telescope response at the receiving point (that corresponds to one or two orthogonal polarizations) with sufficiently broad recording bandwidth.
