Abstract

Facilities for measurement of angular characteristics of the sources associated with solar radio emission at decameter wavelengths have been developed. The measurement method is based on the interferometer approach using the sectional structure of the UTR-2 radio telescope. A simple method of observation and data reduction is described which does not require antenna calibration. The observations of the quiet Sun and bursts of its sporadic activity have been made that enables to determine the angular size of sources and their relative position.

Key words: interferometer, angular size, Sun, type III bursts
