Astronomical Databases and Observation Results on PRAO ASC LPI Sites

Abstract

The problem of cross analysis of the source samples from different astronomical catalogs is very pressing for an astronomer today. It is urgent both for the same spectral range data and for their cross analysis for different spectral ranges. It is also important to show on-line real data from astronomical instruments. And finally, for astronomy popularization it is very important to place on official organization sites popular and educational scientific materials of all types – from books to video presentations and films. For these purposes we developed the PRAO ASC LPI sites . The site “Astro-archives” is created where he single database has books, soft, video and audio files related to astronomy and cosmonautics. The site (“Worker place of radio astronomer”) is dedicated to planning the astronomical observations on PRAO instruments and contains also several dozens of the most important astronomical catalogs and necessary for planning of radio astronomer work observations. In December 2006, the site “Electronic database of observation results from radio telescopes of PRAO ASC LPI” was launched. All observed data of our observatories are written on a special 2-terabite raid-array.
