Research of Parameters of Solar Flares at 3-mm Wavelengths
Abstract
Two powerful solar flares of x-ray class M8.2 from 10.04.2002 and M6.1 from 12.09.2005 recorded, accordingly, during maximum and minimum solar activity. The dynamic spectrum of radiation of 3-mm wavelength flares recorded with the RT-2 radio telescope has been studied. The flexural vibrations of magnetic tubes found in the images of a flare region in the line 195Ǻ and the dynamic spectrum data have allowed estimation of the parameters of plasma of the flare region. The geometrical dimension of the elementary magnetic tubes and their number in an arcade for a flare of class M8.2 are estimated too.
