Abstract

The results of the molecular spectra investigations obtained at the Institute of Radio Astronomy of NASU for the last five years are reviewed. The molecules of interest for astrophysics (CH3NH2, CH3COOH, CH3CONH2, NH2CH2COOH, NH2CONH2, C4H3OCHO) and for environmental monitoring (CF3CH3, CF2Cl32, CH3CF2Cl) were chosen as the objects of investigation. Some of these molecules feature is considerably complicated spectra due to large amplitude intramolecular motion. The results of the molecular spectra investigations are briefly discussed. The design improvement of the IRA NASU automated millimeter wave spectrometer is described too.
