Mesospheric Radar Observations of Quasi-Periodic Processes. 2. Observation Method and Results

Abstract

A typical set of measurements obtained at different times of day and during different seasons and levels of magnetic activity are given. Errors in wave disturbance relative amplitudes are estimated by employing active and passive techniques. The minimal recovered values of relative amplitudes are shown to be within 0.03 - 0.3 range. The results obtained have justified the effectiveness of the suggested techniques.
