Fractal Ultra-Wideband Signals

Abstract


The fractal ultra-wideband (FUWB) signals are proposed as a new type of the ultra-wideband signals. Their numerical and analytical models are described. Basic characteristics of analytical and numerical FUWB signal models are calculated with the Fourier- and wavelet analysis. The advantages and disadvantages of the new signal type are discussed.
