Abstract

A rare multiple-whistler propagation event was recorded at the Ukrainian Academician Vernadsky Antarctic Research Station in the Argentine Islands 65°15’S, 64°16’W, L»3) on July 11, 2001. Ionospheric and geomagnetic conditions have been analyzed, and the causes of the event have been isolated. The analysis of the multiple-whistler cluster has revealed data on the thermal and energetic magnetospheric plasma components.
