Three-Dimensional Chirality Degree Model

Abstract


A new simple algorithm for calculation of a 3D geometric chirality degree is constructed. The problem is considered in context of electromagnetic wave diffraction on complex-shape elements. Dependencies of the chirality degree for some structures of cylindrical spirals and tetrahedrons are shown vs. their geometrics. The results are compared with those achieved for the radiation scattered by randomly oriented structures.
