Radiation Field of a Thin Horizontal Impedance Vibrator in the Lossy Half-Infinite Medium over Perfectly Conducting Plane

Abstract


The approximate formulas for current and expressions for a total electromagnetic radiation field of a thin horizontal impedance vibrator, including an electrically short one, in the half-infinite homogeneous lossy medium over the infinite ideally conducting plane are obtained. The spatial distribution of the near-zone field has been calculated and is shown graphically vs. the medium parameters and the vibrator surface impedance.
