Electromagnetic Wave Scattering by a Double-Periodic Magnetodielectric Layer
Abstract
The problem of electromagnetic wave scattering by a double-periodic magnetodielectric layer is resolved in terms of integral equations of macroscopic electrodynamics. The Galerkin technique is applied to reduce the initial equations to a set of second-order differential ones with constant coefficients. Expressions for the scattered fields have been obtained for a wide frequency range, the resonance region including. Scattering signature curves are shown for dielectric and conducting double-periodic structures.
